P class="Abstrak"> Abstract: This classroom action research focused on determining how the Padlet application could improve the eleventh-grade students' ability to write narrative text during the Ilmu Budaya dan Bahasa 2020/2021 academic year at MAN 1 Pasuruan. Suggestions are shared for teachers who are interested in incorporating the use of Padlet in their own classrooms. The qualitative data gathered also uncovered some potential challenges in using Padlet in the classroom. Based on the data collected through qualitative (open-ended) questionnaires, analyses of students’ writings on the virtual walls, and observations of students’ behavior when Padlet was used in class, it was found that Padlet 1) encouraged the formation of virtual communities where students learned not only from the teacher but also from one another 2) enhanced learners’ engagement with course content and 3) created ‘safe’ virtual spaces for learning. This paper reports a small scale study on the use of Padlet in the teaching of Communication Skills. It is a simple web-application which enables the creation of virtual walls where students and teachers can write on or pin up images or files. These tools that are designed for various purposes improve learners’ experiences in the classrooms making learning fun, engaging and relevant. However, in the past few years, the creations of various Web 2.0 tools and applications have enriched teaching further. Technology has made its presence felt in the classrooms since its invention.
